Simulator Discipline

Discipline is on by default and can be toggled on the page. When it is on, the following rules are enforced by the program, not left to willpower:

• At most 3 opens per ET day: a 4th open is blocked and logged with a reason.
• No new opens after 15:30 ET: no new positions in the last 30 minutes of the session, avoiding chasing orders when gamma moves fastest.
• Fee circuit breaker at $60 per day: once the day’s fees reach $60, no further opens are accepted.
• Close-out reminder before 15:55: after 15:55 ET the page reminds you to close today’s positions and offers a Close All button; the simulator never auto-closes — the decision stays with the practitioner.
• Net of fees: all P&L is shown after fees; the fee is $0.65 per contract per side.

Discipline counts reset on the ET date. The paper account lives only in the browser’s localStorage and can be reset with one click.
